So apparently Xanga is long gone, but if some of you still read these I thought I would let you know what all is going on.

Jake and I are planing on moving once he finds a job.  That means out of state maybe even out of country.  We are really excited and feel God has been telling us this for quite some time.  So we are taking a leap of faith and moving.  It will be great for both of us in so many areas.  So now the hard part, being patient.

I painted a mural for my niece and nephew because their house caught on fire.  Anything to make their life more normal.  Anyways, the restoration people think I have a great talent and they got my number.  So, I think I could have a job!!!  The only problem is we are going to be moving.  It is still the encouragement that I needed to realize I am good and no one says I can't get a job doing that somewhere else.  We will see what happens!

We painted the outside of our house, it is WAY better!  It is ready to sell when we are ready to sell it.  :)

As usual!  Have a good day!!!

Enjoy the new pic!  I went back to brown hair about 2 months ago.

Hey!

I had a good time in Mexico and on the cruise.  Progresso was the most poverty struck place I had ever seen.  It was sad and we American's just go barging in there and low-ball them to save a dollar when a dollar to them can feed there families.  Yet the souvenirs we over priced.  When we first got to the Island of Progresso we walked through this big building that was old and beautiful.  Then noticed the "workers" were squeegeeing overflowed toilet off the floor.  Gross.  It was sick.  I wanted to leave but my mom had requested a hammock so we went on.  The whole city was worse than anywhere in the states, I am sure.  I was not prepared for this type of city as a tourist stop nor on vacation.  The hammock we chose is beautiful by the way!

Cozumel on the other hand was the opposite.  It was clean and fresh and the water was so clear it looked like the ocean floor was an inch under it.  Amazing.  The city was equality as nice... new stucco and tile roofs and the roads and sidewalks were clean.  Their were tons of palm trees, my favorite tree!!  We also went to a Mexican restaurant and it was sooo good!!!  The only down side to Cozumel was everyone wanted you to buy from their store but that is okay!

The cruise ship was okay.. I am not used to being stuck on something for that long.  It was huge but not big enough.  There was a bad storm the day before so the waves were really high that means the boat rocked a lot.  My favorite part about it was laying out getting sun on the ocean!  The pools and hot tubs were filled with the ocean water... it was interesting!  Oh I almost forgot about the food.  It was great!  Some of the best dished I had ever had.  Overall it was fun but if I did it again I would probably fly directly to Cozumel and spend a couple days there!

Since the trip I have been reviving this house for my mom.  I just did a faux finish to the kitchen cabinets and it looks great!! I found some good tile for one of the bathrooms so i will probably lay that next.

Have a great day week or weekend!
